Why buy new when slightly used will do

Features 3.0 Performance 5.0 Value 5.0
Product came exactly as advertised, and runs great. The battery life isn't impressive, but that's to be expected. The free upgrade to Mavericks was a really nice bonus (thanks Apple!). If you're considering a Mac, I'd strongly suggest used.

Powerful editor!

User Interface 5.0 Ease of use 4.5 Documentation 5.0
Sublime Text 2 is a hugely powerful editor, but it has a far gentler learning curve than hardcore text editors like Vim and Emacs. I love that every toolbar, mouse scroll speed, keyboard shortcut, etc. can be customized at will. I think Sublime Text 2 is one of the greatest editors on the market today.

The fastest 93 minutes of my life

Story 4.0 Actors Performance 4.5 Cinematography 4.0 Sound Track 5.0
The most thrilling movie I've seen in a long time. Neeson is what we would fear if James Bond went to hell and came back for revenge. I loved Jason Bourne; but where Bourne is confused for half the movie, Neeson is looking down a barrel of a pistol 3/4 of the time. In a three way spy battle, I would put Neeson edging out Bourne, who would be a step ahead of Bond.

Like watching paint dry..

Just to give this review some perspective, I've been playing the various iterations of Civ for a very, very long time. I spend endless hours on 3 and 4, balancing game commitments and my real life. When Civ 5 was announced, I didn't hesitate. I bought it immediately. In short, it didn't take me long before I realized that this new Civ was nothing like the Civ of old. I've never played Revolutions, but I've heard there is a lot of overlap. I don't know. What I do know is that this game is boring. Really, really boring. Never have I clicked the "next turn" button like I have here. Maybe it's because it takes forever to build anything...so long, in fact, that it's easier just to hoard gold and buy things. Maybe it's because expansion and/or conquest isn't really encouraged. The seemingly massive happiness hit just makes it unreasonable. So I sit there, just watching the world slowly go by.

Beautiful and Luxurious!

Stayed 3 nights for a break to see friends and having tried many hotels in NYC finally chose the Mercer and it really is worth every penny. Booked a suite and was upgraded on arrival to a lovely high ceiling room on the 2nd floor facing the road. Bed very comfortable, great sheets, big bathroom with full size bath and shower. Friendly helpful service and good breakfast. Tried other hotels in the area including the Bowery and the Mercer is superior.

Good enough

Compared to Pegg and Frost's previous works ('Spaced', 'Shaun of the Dead' and 'Hot Fuzz') which in my opinion are classics, 'Paul' falls a little short. Some of the jokes, especially the toilet humor delivered by Rogan, fall flat. It's also lacking in wit. The pacing is a little slow in the first half but it picks up quickly in the latter portion. Plot holes are scattered throughout the movie. In terms of execution, 'Paul' is quite well made. The title character looks amusing. The cross country location suits the setting. Cinematography is adequate.
