Worth every penny

Service 5.0 Location 5.0 Pricing 5.0
Very rarely hotels exceed my expectations. The Encore was an exception to this rule. From check-in to check-out, we had tremendous service at every turn. The room was clean, large, and comfortable, with a wonderful view of the strip and sunset. In-room dining was probably the best I've ever had at any hotel. We ordered four times in five days, and the food was always delicious and the service was always friendly and prompt.

Ok film

Story 3.0 Actors Performance 3.5 Cinematography 5.0 Sound Track 4.0
The visuals are amazing, the action scenes are exciting, and there is some really good acting from the likes of Sigourney Weaver and Stephen Lang, but the characters don't seem real. The villain is too much of a stereotype. I still think it's an ok film. Not as bad as a lot of people would want you to believe.

This place is awesome! The side veggies were amazing and plentiful - cauliflower with dijon master and brussels sprouts were delicious.

Good sequel

The game is a little bit too easy for my taste, but Cut the Rope: Time Travel is still the perfect follow-up to Cut the Rope and Cut the Rope: Experiments, and a real lesson in how to make a sequel and how to make it right.

I was never really a big Star Trek fan, I really enjoyed watching this movie. You need no previous knowlage of Star Trek to enjoy this movie. JJ Abrams does the near impossible, making everyone love Star Trek.

Fun and addicting game

Gameplay 5.0 Graphics 5.0 Sound 4.5
Angry Birds' gameplay is incredibly easy to understand, and the visual payoff for blowing stuff up is consistently impressive. With almost 100 levels spread across a multiple levels and objectives Angry Birds will be fun for a long time.

Not very diverse

Food 4.5 Atmosphere 4.0 Service 4.5 Pricing 2.5
The food is good. However, the menu feels small, and not very diverse (I hope you like meat). It also feels quite overpriced. The service was very good.

Beautiful

Story 5.0 Actors Performance 4.0 Cinematography 5.0 Sound Track 5.0
Great storytelling and one the most interesting movies of 2012. I think the directors did a fantastic job of weaving these stories together, as well as capturing and sustaining interest throughout. It was long, but I didn't feel it. It was visually beautiful with stunning action sequences and the score was perfect!

Powerful editor!

User Interface 5.0 Ease of use 4.5 Documentation 5.0
Sublime Text 2 is a hugely powerful editor, but it has a far gentler learning curve than hardcore text editors like Vim and Emacs. I love that every toolbar, mouse scroll speed, keyboard shortcut, etc. can be customized at will. I think Sublime Text 2 is one of the greatest editors on the market today.

Worth The Wait!

I switched to this phone from the Samsung Captivate, which I was very happy with. Even though I have had the Inspire for less than a full day, I am already happier with it than I was with the Captivate. Although the display is not Super AMOLED, it is slightly bigger than the Captivate's and plenty clear. I love the design of this phone, the 8-megapixel camera with dual LED flash, Android 2.2 is significantly faster than 2.1, and I am anxious to see how useful HTC Sense is. After getting used to Swype on the Captivate, not having it is a minor issue compared to all of the other features on this phone. I would highly recommend this phone to anyone and I'll update this review after using it for a longer period of time. But for now, I love it! By the way, as far as the battery life is concerned, any smartphone will have issues with battery life if you're a heavy internet browser, video streamer, game player, or multimedia message sender.

Interesting

Gameplay 4.0 Graphics 3.5 Sound 4.5
The game is different enough from the prior versions to be interesting to play. It is also similiar in play to the prior versions that you can play the game without referring much to the electronic manual. Downside - not ready for release. Regular and consistent lock-ups or crashes.

Great experience

If you haven't made it to the Orange Show yet, then shame on you! Well, perhaps not shame, but your Houston experience has been sorely lacking. In a city that is becoming rapidly gentrified and taken over by ugly condo complex after complex, the Orange Show is one of those rare spaces that has somehow managed to survive through the gracious patronage of Houston's arts community.

The fastest 93 minutes of my life

Story 4.0 Actors Performance 4.5 Cinematography 4.0 Sound Track 5.0
The most thrilling movie I've seen in a long time. Neeson is what we would fear if James Bond went to hell and came back for revenge. I loved Jason Bourne; but where Bourne is confused for half the movie, Neeson is looking down a barrel of a pistol 3/4 of the time. In a three way spy battle, I would put Neeson edging out Bourne, who would be a step ahead of Bond.

Like watching paint dry..

Gameplay 2.5 Graphics 4.5 Sound 4.0
Just to give this review some perspective, I've been playing the various iterations of Civ for a very, very long time. I spend endless hours on 3 and 4, balancing game commitments and my real life. When Civ 5 was announced, I didn't hesitate. I bought it immediately. In short, it didn't take me long before I realized that this new Civ was nothing like the Civ of old. I've never played Revolutions, but I've heard there is a lot of overlap. I don't know. What I do know is that this game is boring. Really, really boring. Never have I clicked the "next turn" button like I have here. Maybe it's because it takes forever to build anything...so long, in fact, that it's easier just to hoard gold and buy things. Maybe it's because expansion and/or conquest isn't really encouraged. The seemingly massive happiness hit just makes it unreasonable. So I sit there, just watching the world slowly go by.
