I love my new Mac (previous PC) user. I was worried about the switch, but I have to say with a little poking around and some google-ing I don't see why anyone should miss out. Really solid, good quality, worth every penny.
I solid buy definitely one of the best laptop on the market. If you want a Mac you will love it and it offers a strong overall performance. The bad is the battery life is pretty good not amazing as advertised by some and the screen is very good not great if I have to nit pick.
Apple had to replace the original hard drive only one month after I bought it because it kept crashing and they couldn't figure out why. The replacement HDD always make loud clicking noises. Buy a SSD - they're affordable and well worth it. And get Apple Care. You may need it.
Product came exactly as advertised, and runs great. The battery life isn't impressive, but that's to be expected. The free upgrade to Mavericks was a really nice bonus (thanks Apple!). If you're considering a Mac, I'd strongly suggest used.
First, the operating system is that much better than windows. It does take a little getting used to if you aren't familiar with Macs, but once you get a good feel for where everything is located you realize that the system is much more intuitive and geared to the user than windows. The battery life is outstanding, the processor is incredibly fast, and if you get a solid state hard drive the thing is indestructible. I can't tell you how many times I've dropped mine with zero problems.
